Fourth annual birthday giveaway!

Hey y’all, it’s my birthday- I’m 31, which sounds a lot older than it feels. That means it’s time for my annual birthday giveaway! All you have to do is tell me how you celebrated your birthday this year (or how you’re planning to celebrate) in the comments. I’ll randomly select a winner on Wednesday, November 1 and send the winner a package of goodies. That’s it! Please include your email address so I can let you know you’ve won.

The beginning of my birthday tradition!

My favorite way to celebrate my birthday is by eating Mexican food and drinking a margarita the size of my head with as many friends as possible. It’s something I’ve been doing for a decade now (since I turned 21)!

ETA: this year, I’ll also be enjoying this thoroughly ridiculous, amazing cake:

  3. As a teacher the one guaranteed mental health day I take is my birthday. No work all horses, I try to take one of the boys somewhere pretty for a long hack, and ride the other at home. Then a family dinner somewhere with lots of meat and wine. It makes for a happy Gina

  4. I love margaritas!
I spent my birthday getting ready to take Carmen to our first ever show. It was scary and Awesome all at once.

On my actual birthday I went to a release party for a dear friend’s first novel. There was free food and drinks and I was so happy for her! Two days later a different group of friends took me to dinner and presented me with a custom saddle pad and β€œOh sh*t!” Grab strap complete with poop emoji .. ha.

  10. That cake. Amazing. I had to actually think hard about what I did for my birthday before remembering that I took a jump lesson before eating an entire family’s worth of Chinese food. So I guess it must have been pretty turnt.

  11. Cake <3 I spent my birthday in Japan with a couple former classmates, petting hedgehogs, drinking expensive drinks, eating ramen, karaoke in japanese followed by a 2 hour walk across tokyo when we missed the last train lol. Great way to ring in a new year of me.

  15. Good God that margarita is glorious. My birthday kinda sucked this year, as it was just a few days after I lost my dog. So I bought a bottle of wine and takeout dinner after work and spent the entire evening at the barn hanging out in the pasture with the creatures and going for a trail ride.

  16. Happy belated Bday Friend!! This year, my birthday was on a Monday as well and I was in San Francisco recieving texts at 4:00 AM from CST people regarding the implosion of our GMO and THEN I got to sit in an airport. 43 is a BLAST!!
