Heading to Wellington

I’m heading out tomorrow for Wellington, Florida and will be there through Tuesday! I couldn’t be more excited. It’s a work trip; I’ll be spending some of my time at the dressage trailer, learning how the “big” trailer operates. This is something that’s always interested me, since I’m regularly sent out with our local mobile unit to comparatively small H/J and dressage shows. I’ve always wanted to know how the dressage trailer runs at the big shows like the Adequan Global Dressage Festival and Dressage at Devon.

I’ll also have the chance to interview some of the riders that work sponsors, which I am very excited about. I’ve spent a couple of weeks preparing questions that hopefully won’t make me sound like a moron.

I won’t have my own car while I’m in Florida (and I’m not sure how much free time I’ll have) but if anyone else will be down there, I’d love to try to meet up!

  1. Oh my, you’ll LOVE it! So pretty. So very pretty. And the footing.

I hope you get there in time to watch Friday Night Freestyles!

  2. Okay, I may have just spent 10 minutes drooling over aerial views of the show grounds and horse properties of Wellington courtesy of Google Earth *blush*

Have fun! Take lots of pictures!

    1. I am REALLY excited to see them all in person- I’ve never been down there before! I’ll have the good camera from work, so I will absolutely have lots of photos.
