Thursday’s threads

Moe and I return to the jumper ring this weekend (after a decade-long hiatus), so I took a page from Stacie at Amateur At Large‘s book and put together my look for the show! I lack a full length mirror, so you’ll have to make do with imagining how stylish I’ll look in the flesh. (At least until I get some photos from the show.)

One K Defender suede helmet // Horze Grand Prix knee patch breeches // Equine Couture Sawyer show shirt // Equine Couture Carrington polo // Roeckl Roeck grip gloves // Eurostar airflow cap // WoofWear competition sock // Ariat Heritage Contour field boots

I’ve talked before about how much I love Horze’s Grand Prix breeches, and I’m excited to add a tan pair to my collection. (Always nice to have another pair for hunting!) The Equine Couture shirts are silky soft and lightweight, and I really love the light blue/navy combination on both of them. I’m all about these Eurostar caps right now, too. They’re mesh, which means I’m cool while I’m hiding my unruly helmet hair!

My white saddle pads are clean, and Moe will be sporting a pair of Professional’s Choice open front boots. I’m looking forwarding to testing them out.

Moe and I have had a low-key week. I flatted him in my jumping saddle on Tuesday (bad idea) and am taking him on a trail ride tomorrow before I get him settled in at the show grounds.

    1. A sales rep hoping the store will carry them dropped off this pair and a pair of brushing boots and said someone on the staff ought to try them out. Since yours truly is the only one that rides, they’re going home with me. This is maybe the third time I’ve gotten something for free at work, so I am REALLY EXCITED lol
